Allen earned his BA Sports Management from Michigan, while pitching four years for the Wolverines. He was a member of the NECBL's Newport Gulls in 2022, and finished his playing career with the Charlotte 49ers in 2025.
Serving as a captain for his senior year at Michigan and at Charlotte, Allen has mentored younger players and developed positive team environments, skills that are top priorities for the Nighthawks. In his career, he struck out 140 batters in 194 innings. He had a 15-8 record with a 6.12 ERA.
Chase is currently an Assistant Coach with the A10 Conference' Dayton Flyers.
