Nighthawks Collaborate With The Busyhead Project
Greener Mind Uniform Debuts June 7
White River Junction, VT - The Nighthawks are proud to announce a new collaboration with The Busyhead Project, including the 'Greener Mind' uniform for the 2026 season.
We are honored to join The Busyhead Project in their new grassroots program with notable Vermont organizations to raise awareness, invite conversation, and provide mental health resources to the rural communities we serve, while ending the stigma around mental health.
Quiet isolation, beauty, and nostalgia are things the Upper Valley gives in abundance for the people who grew up here. But within that, striving for sustainable and accessible pathways to healthier minds in Vermont is important.
"We are so proud to call Noah a Vermonter and proud of what he is doing for mental health. He has given a voice to so many Vermonters with feelings they relate to, but often have trouble transcribing. The Busyhead Project is keeping roots deep in his backyard, and the work they do is inspiring," said Matt Wright, Nighthawks Vice President.
"We want to advocate for everyone we serve, and that includes mental healthcare. We are beyond proud to support The Busyhead Project in their mission to build strong partnerships in Vermont, while using our platform as a vehicle to spread their message and resources."
The Nighthawks will debut the Greener Mind uniform on Sunday, June 7th when they take on the visiting Valley Blue Sox in The Nest at Maxfield Sports Complex.
Named after his 2019 debut album, The Busyhead Project is a non-profit mental health initiative founded by Noah Kahan aimed at providing the resources and information needed to end stigma and barriers around mental health. Taken from his own life experiences growing up in the Upper Valley, Noah has been vocal about his mental health journey and challenges from a young age, remaining committed to utilizing his growing platform to shed light on the topic and make mental healthcare accessible for all. Since launching in 2023, The Busyhead Project has raised over six and a half million dollars in pursuit of its ultimate goal: to make mental healthcare (and greener minds) accessible for all.
The Nighthawks will be collecting donations for The Busyhead Project at select home games throughout the summer. More details to follow. To take action and get involved with The Busyhead Project in your community, visit busyheadproject.org today.
The Nighthawks would like to thank Vermont's Own WCAX Channel 3 News for sponsoring the Greener Mind uniform, and for helping keep the Vermont theme throughout.
